Since its founding on February 26, 1921 the North Carolina Delta Chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon has produced many outstanding alumni including UNC Professor Emeritus Dr. Sterling Hennis and Chairman of the UNC Board of Trustees and East West Partners CEO Roger Perry among countless other successful professionals. In the Spring of 2009 we adopted the award winning Balanced Man Program allowing us to recruit members year round and giving us a four year continuous development program.
Currently, NC Delta boasts the Executive Director of the Eve Carson Scholarship, the Chairman and Memberhship Chairman of the College Republicans, two Committee Co-Chairs in Student Government, a Campus Y Cabinet member, staff writers for the Carolina Review and The Odyssey, Robertson scholars, athletes on the Varsity Lacrosse and Fencing teams, and members of the Club Volleyball, Tennis and Hockey teams. Our brothers also stay active off campus as well and have completed internships at Goldman Sachs, Banyan Mezzanine Partners, Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, SAS, Builders of Hope, Appalachian Service Project and Seth Benzel Racing Stable Inc. We have the current Carolina Hurricanes Sales Intern, the Reunions and Special Events Coordinator at the General Alumni Association and numerous brothers working at businesses and nightlife hot-spots around Chapel Hill.
